Discoloration After First Session of Smoothbeam Laser.

Laser was done on my cheeks. It looks very different and fairer than my forehead. What should I do?? My doctor suggested I use Teenderm K Concentrate and I use Neutrogena Acne Wash with 2% salicylic acid. Shall I continue using those? I had my laser just two days ago.
