Discharge from Surgical Site 7 Days After Umbilical Hernia Repair ?
I had an umbilical hernia repair 7 days ago and now have a discharge from the site. Is this normal ?

Without more detailed information it is impossible to say whether this is within normal limits or represents a seroma or infection. See your surgeon as soon as possible for evaluation.

Discharge after Surgery
I would contact your plastic surgeon and explain your symptoms. This may be normal although it could also be the beginning of an infection or a fluid collection. Some drainage is normal but to be sure, I would see your plastic surgeon.
