Restylane - Unhappy
Yes, there is a way - you can have the injected area "dissolved" with hyaluronidase. You should, of course, discuss this with your own doctor but in the event that you're still unhappy, you can certainly have some of the bulk removed.
I hope that this helps,

Facial Filler
If you are not satisfied with the results it is always best to discuss treatment plans with the injector. Resylane will metabolize in 9 months or less. However you can have a dose of hyaluronidase injected that will help dissolve the filler. Again, it is best to have this discussion with the injector you chose.
Best of luck to you!

Restylane duration
For most patients, You can expect your Restylane results to last 6-9 months. If you do not like your cosmetic outcomes, you always have the option of using vitrase to dissolve the product if it is a hyaluronic acid. I suggest you meet with a skilled injector to determine the treatment plan that is best for you.

Spend more time selecting the MD, plastic and cosmetic surgeon that will be doing Restylane injections or use another more suitable filler to accomplish the desired effect. Hyaluronidase can be injected to dissolve the Restylane although IMO, it's better to massage and let it dissolve on its own.

Restylane results
There are 2 reasons why patients are disappointed with this treatment:
1. Too much product was used and the patient doesn't look "natural." This isn't common. Time and massage of the product can help reduce it. Also, if the injection was recent, there may be some swelling that still needs to resolve.
2. The most common reason patients are disappointed is that not enough product was used (cost is usually the prohibitive factor) and the patient did not achieve the...

Hyaluronidase To Dissolve Restylane
When disappointed with a treatment, it is always best to return to the physician who performed the treatment and consult with him or her about options to improve the results. Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane can be reversed with a material called hyaluronidase, the results of which are seen almost immediately. Hopefully your physician is familiar with hyaluronidase and is comfortable using it to help reverse the effects of the Restylane injections. The treatment is...

If you wish to spend more $'s than low dose hyalurondiase injections. But in most cases Restylane will metabolize away in 3 to 6 months.

Unhappy with restylane

It can take two or three years for all the Restylane to disappear.
Please do not live with a filler service you are not happy with. The service can be adjusted using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. The material does not need to be erased. A skilled injector can actually shape the product as needed.

Disappointing results with Restylane
If you are disappointed with the results of your Restylane treatment, you should return to your injecting physician for re-evaluation of the results and a frank discussion about treatment options. If necessary, your treatment can always be reversed with hyaluronidase. Since there are different types of fillers to treat different kinds of problems, you should always make sure make sure your injecting physician has all of the "tools" to use, such as all of the various facial...
