Switching from Diode to Alexandrite/Nd:YAG on Nipple Area?

I had LightSheer laser (diode)  used for my nipple area. I am considering switching to Alexandrite and/or Nd:YAG Laser. Will I need to have 2 different settings for the light skin surrounding the areolae vs. the darker skin comprising the areolae? Is it ok for me to switch from diode to using Alexandrite/Nd:YAG on my areolae, or would this reduce effectiveness of the overall treatment? What are the potential (bad) side effects?

Switching from Diode to Yag

There is no harm in switching. However, the diode Lightsheer is a great laser and should work well on the areola without any problem. You will not need a different setting because most of the hair are on the border of the areola and not on the darker part of the areola. Regards
