Zoom Laser Whitening

Using the word "laser" when it comes to whitening is a bit of a misnomer since it's not really a laser. It's more of a UV light that helps warm and activate the whitening gel. Zoom is one of the better known whitening brands. It's used exclusively in our office with good results. Regards, Peter Mann DDS see video

ZOOM vs Lasern Whitening

Zoom vs Laser Whitening

Whitening of teeth can be divided into two main categories: Tray Whitening and In Office Power Assisted Whitening. All work well in experienced hands with varying advantages such as speed, cost, and control of any sensitivity.. There are many methods of Power Assisted Whitening: Chemical Only, Light Activated (Zoom is one excellent brand) and Laser. They all work well. Best of luck to you and enjoy your whiter smile.

Difference between Zoom and Laser

Zoom is a brand name for a system that uses a light to help activate the bleach. Most dentists that use the term "laser whitening" are probably referring to a light based system. They are all safe to use in your mouth. I prefer a procedure that does not use a light called KoR Whitening.

Zoom or conventional whitening

Really Zoom Whitening is just a brand, there are many other brands that work just as great for a fraction of the cost.
