The difference between SmartLipo and Lipotherme
SmartLipo is a brand name for a 1064nm Nd:YAG laser liposuction device that melts fat by creating heat within the tissues. It also tightens the skin, making it potentially better for this than traditional liposuction. LipoTherme is a 25 watt diode continuous wave laser which heats the fat and skin at a higher temperature to purportedly achieve better skin tightening. We use both of these lasers.
