I Did Not Wear Retainers 24/7 As Told by my Dentist and Instead Just Wore Them at Night After my Treatment for Increased Overjet

i wear retainers every night after my treatment for the past 6 months contrary to 24 hrs as told by dentist. will this damage my treatment? if yes, then what can be done now?

How much retainer wear is necessary?

Every doctor has a different retention protocol and it also depends on the initial problem. That said, Full time retainer wear for 6 months sounds excessive to me! I usually let my patients go to nighttime wear after 1-3 months
