Swelling of Nose, Thinner Bones 3 Weeks After Rhinoplasty

Hi Safi, The nasal bones settle over a 6 to 12 month period after rhinoplasty. They may swell, they may get thinner over time. Many times the nasal bones are narrowed during rhinoplasty. Fortunately, there is not much to be done at this point, just be patient and share any concerns or questions that you may have with your rhinoplasty surgeon. Enjoy your new nose. Good luck and be well. Dr. P
