Did Accutane Permanently Thin my Skin?

I took Accutane for 6 months back in 1996. My skin has never quite felt the same since (strange dry sensation). It is 2012 and I've begun to have problems with the skin on my neck. It is very thin and gets damaged very easily while shaving with an electric shaver. The skin seems very thin and fragile. Could the Accutane have made things worse? Meaning that maybe the Accutane's permanent thinning effect on the skin has worsened with aging thrown into the mix?
