Is Deviated Septum Causing my Feeling of Suffocation?

I have been diagnosed with a deviated septum but I suffer from feelings of suffocation during the daytime when I am wake as well and can sometimes last for around 30 minutes. Is this also a symptom of the deviated septum or something else?
