Dettol Antiseptic Burn to Nose

Two months ago I saw a red inflammatory mark on my nose, then picked at it, compressed it with too hot water & put dettol (antiseptic) on it overnight, resulting in a scab. Was recommended Perderm for 8 days. On close examination with a spotlight the area of skin on the top hasn't completely grown back. It's difficult to analyse the skin color, but it's probably light red/brown & better now than it was, although still sensitive.

Is the dettol still trapped underneath? What is the best treatment for this?
