I Despise my Looks, What Shall I Do? (photo)

Age 22. The following issues that I have a problem with: * I have a long face and when I relax my jaw, my mouth opens. Im also a mouth breather, does that mean I have Long Face Syndrome? * No chin as side view shows, do I need a chin implant? * Teeth, unequal midline and top front teeth make me look like a rabbit? * Unequal face symmetry and need cheek implants? I apologize if this makes me sound crazy, but I feel so ugly. I look in the mirror and feel like crying.

I Despise my Looks, What Shall I Do?

First let me say that I'm sorry that you feel that way about your appearance. Aesthetically, the face appears elongated because the cheeks are very flat. Cheek Augmentation with Cheek Implants can give the face more angularity and a ruggedly handsome appearance. The chin is quite weak and can be augmented with a Chin Implant. I would suggest starting with these two procedures as they are the more important aesthetic aspects from the photos submitted IMHO.... more

Long face

Though a chin implant would improve your profile, it would not solve all the issues that you are expressing...I would agree that some counseling would be a wiser investment and be helpful to address some of these prior to embarking on any surgery.

Long face

I do not see any of the issues you mentioned. Your strong negative body immage feelings is overwhelming. There are deeper issues. You may need a psychiatic help to help you with all these issues.

I have to agree with pham, you're a good looking guy, and I have no reason to lie to you. I think you might be placing too much emphasis on looks.I can't tell you how many guys I thought were soo good looking at first, but the more I got to know them, the less appealing they became. Eventually I couldn't even fathom how I thought they were attractive in the first place. They bored me half to death!

I've also met men who were average in the looks department who I fell for because of their intelligence and confidence. They became more and more attractive to me.
I understand wanting to improve one or two features, but I'm concerned at the number of issues you've listed. Maybe body dysmorphic disorder should be ruled out before you consider surgery? I think you may have a warped perception of yourself. I think a lot of guys would happily switch places with you. Take Care, ok?

You look perfectly fine to me. Gorgeous eyes, nice teeth, and for the chin part you still have baby fat.. I hope i am right, you will thin out later on. You don't need to fix anything, this is coming from a girl. You are still young as you aged, you will look more define. I didn't like the way I look as well when I was young in my early 20's. Don't feel bad. Be happy!!!
