Dermatologist to Perform Active FX?

Can a dermatologist perform Total FX (Active FX and Deep FX) as well as a plastic surgeon? Can they get as good of an effect without using a nerve block?

My dermatologist's before and after pictures aren't very dramatic in difference. He said they do the Deep and then Active, one pass each. He said they dial up to 4 and 6 or 7 around the mouth with a dental block. He also said some people have very subtle results that you can hardly tell anything was done.

Is this the result of his technique? Thanks! I'm dying to have it done but want the best results.
