Can Demaplaning remove acne scars permanently? How many treatments on average does it take?

Dermaplaning unlikely to be effective for significant acne scars

Dermaplaning on acne scars is a relatively minimally invasive intervention which is not likely to have any dramatic effects on acne scarring. It is more likely that you will derive greater benefit from dermabrasion and this may take multiple sesions. A 30% improvement is considered a decent result.

Demaplaning Will Not Significantly Improve Acne Scars

Dermaplaning is a procedure, typically performed by Aestheticians, which allows for shaving/ removal of cell layers within the epidermis.  In order to achieve a significant improvement in the appearance of a scar, the level of treatment must enter the lower layer of skin (dermis).  Therefore, Dermaplaning is very limited in its ability to address acne scars.
