He gives an example of patient complaining of more wrinkles under eye after retinoid use. In another video, he purports that retinoids can thin the skin and make broken capillaries more apparent. Surgeons and dermatologists on this site have asserted that retinoids thicken the skin. Why is there not a consensus? I have been using .25mg ziana under the eyes and noticed existing lines lengthening and new thin lines appearing.
Why does this derm say he does not prescribe retinoids?
