Deprojection: Is This a Correct Rhinoplasty Technique for Me?

I feel theres room for improvement. In a consultation,I told my doc that I wish the nose was narrower,and the tip was more refined. He agreed and said he'd like to probably do an alar base reduction, deprojection, and tip refinement,along with a lengthening if I desired.Personally,the deprojection scares me as I know it could make my tip more bulbous and im more concerned with the frontal view than profile. What do you think?And would a lengthening be wise since its such a difficult procedure?
