I know that the primary goal is to reduce bacteria build up leading to gum, bone and tooth loss. But, does it really work? Is there real gingival re-attachment? How long for the reattachment to take hold so I can brush again?

Flap surgery and pocket reduction is very successful. Will types of periodontal treatment so many times long term results are tied to the patient. I feel its very much like a diet short term very successful long term most patients fall off the wagon and the disease comes back good luck stay on top of it
