Hi! I am 5 days post-op and am freaking out. I underwent an open rhinoplasty and septoplasty and still have the bandages on but I can already tell that my nostrils looks uneven. I had a bump removed, my tip brought up using cartilage from my septum, and my nostrils brought down but not narrowed. I cannot smile at all.. when I try it looks creepy and none of my top teeth show. Is this normal?

Concern after Rhinoplasty

Everything you describe 5 days after rhinoplasty can be explained on the basis of normal post-op swelling and morbidity. At least have the bandage removed before criticizing your result, but even then it will be impossible. It will take several months to appreciate what has been accomplished.
