Darkened Eyelid After Removing Chalazion, Options to Address this?

i had a chalazion and got it removed recently.. but i find that my eye lid has become dark.. i dont know if it was due to hot fomentations i gave or if it is aftermath of surgery.. can u give some suggestions to improve its colour naturally.. is it possible and if so how long will it take to regain the original color
