Ask a QuestionDark Pigmentation After Punch Biopsy. Normal?
I got my mole removed almost two weeks ago. My concern is this dark/brownish pigmentation around the wound. My dermatologist have told me that the mole was benign.

Post surgical pigmentation
Post surgical hyperpigmentation is common in darker skin and may bleach out with time. How long afterwards did you notice the hyperpigmentation? Avoid the sun at all costs as this will make the pigmentation worse.
