After having neck surgery to remove my "waddle," I had problems with blood pooling under my chin so the drain was reinserted. The swelling has gone down but I still have ugly knots and rope-like scars under my chin. I've had multiple needle aspirations to help drain fluid and steroid shots. I am 4 months post op now without significant improvement. What is the problem? There was no incision at affected site. What is the prognosis for improvement? What treatment is recommended?
