If has been five weeks since my rhinoplasty operation and I was gently feeling the bridge of my nose with my finger when my other finger hit my the part of the bridge closest to the tip. I am not sure how hard i hit it as my nose is still very stiff and I am not sure if there was pain after as it was already hurting. Do you think it changed the appearance of my tip because I had it lifted and i dont want it to be droopy or have a bump on the bridge again.

Damge Secondary to Nasal Trauma 5 Weeks Post Rhinoplasty

I find it very difficult to answer your question - I've never seen your nose and I did not witness the trauma. It is unlikely you did any harm but talk to your surgeon.

Bumping your nose after Rhinoplasty

It is difficult to completely understand the trauma to the nose as you have described. With this said the best thing to do is discuss this with your surgeon. Explain to your surgeon the incident, any changes you see in the nose after the incident if any and he/she should be able to put your mind at ease. From the description and how it is explained it doesn't seem like this will be a problem for your healing. Rest easy and be careful it is unlikely you have caused damage.

Possible deformity of nose s/p trauma after rhinoplasty

The first question would be "Do you notice any difference in the appearance of the nose after the trauma?"  It doesn't sound like you created enough of an injury to alter the result.  If you have any questions, then ask your surgeon and have him/her explain exactly what was done.

Dose bumping nose after nose job cause injury or deformity.

Determining what happened to your nose is very difficult using a verbal description alone. It is possible you caused a deformity but you or your surgeon should be able to determine that by looking at your nose. IF you did, your surgeon would determine the best treatment.

Bumping nose after rhinoplasty

Hi Marie, From what you describe, I think that you were unlikely to have damaged the nose.  However, I would meet and discuss this with your surgeon.  Although this is still very early after surgery, he or she may notice some subtle irregularities that may be present.   Good luck!

Hitting your nose after a rhinoplasty

It is unlikely that you disrupted anything in your nose after you accidentally struck it, but if you are concerned, then see your doctor.
