Can Daily Use of AHA Lotion Cause Skin Thinning?

I've been using a high percentage Glycolic acid or Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) lotion over my entire body due to sun damage and pilaris keratosis for the last year. I've used it almost daily due to the awesome results, but lately I've noticed it seems like my skin is drastically thinning. Every vein in my body seems visible and it's making me feel obsessed trying to find a reason. I am 36, if this helps. Also, are there any supplements or medications that can cause thinning of the skin? Thank you.
