will cystic acne always leave a dent. i have one where all the pus came out and even the hardest part...now a scab has formed. will it leave a depressed scar once the scab falls off?

Cystic acne may leave a dent...
Cystic acne is highly inflammatory. The inflammation destroys the surrounding tissue leaving a depressed area. Don't pick at the lesion as this may cause more inflammtion. Are you on acne treatment? Is sounds like you need to see a dermatologist. Steroid injection into the active cyst can help the inflammation go away quickly reducing your risk of scar.

Acne cysts may scar after healing
Acne cysts may scar after healing. Some cysts do heal without scars. A good acne therapy may prevent the formation of cysts and subsequent scarring.

It will for sure if you squeeze or pick it
Cystic acne is highly inflammatory and can scar, but the odds are increased if you squeeze, pick, or excoriate in any way. An IL TAC injection might help prevent scarring if the lesion is acute.
