I am currently taking Cimzia and a host of meds for Crohn's. My abdomen is grossly distorted due to high dose steroid use in the past (stretch marks and fat storage). I have been thinking about abdominoplasty but not sure if I would be allowed due to the PSC, and crohn's. Thank you.

Crohn's Disease and interest in a possible tummy tuck
You indicate having an interest in a tummy tuck though without photos it is not even clear that this would be an appropriate procedure. An evaluation would need to be performed by a board certified plastic surgeon who could then provide you with a well founded recommendation.

Its always necessary to look at all of the healing issues of a patient before proceeding with surgery. Depending on your other medications and medical conditions, if any, a reasonable idea of risk can be estimated. High dose steroid patients are at higher risk for healing issues so this should be taken into account, but I have had tummy tuck patients on low dose steroids do well. The medical condition ( Crohn's disease) and the medications used to treat it are not absolute contraindications to tummy tuck surgery. I have treated several patients with inflammatory bowel disease successfully (tummy tuck surgery).
