Drainage of Eyelid Lesion
The cost of a procedure depends on the the actual diagnosis of the lesion and what CPT code was used which is ultimately based on the procedure that was performed. If the lesion was determined to be an abscess and an incision and drainage was performed, the CPT code would vary based on a simple or complex incision and drainage. If the lesion was actually excised, an excision CPT code would be applied which would be based on whether the lesion was benign or malignant and a repair code...
