Complications of fillers
Injecting fillers around the eye may lead to some complications The more common are bruising, and palpability of the product.

Possible complications include blindness, visible lumping of the filler, visible color change of the skin and infection. Despite that the procedure is probably performed 100s of times a day in the US and the vast majority of these patients do not have any of these complications. The important factors are which filler is chosen, what are the patient related specifics and what technique is used for injection.
