Laser Resurfacing: Q&A

Ask a Question

How Long Should I Wait Between Laser Resurfacing Treatments?

Confused about when to evaluate/seek further treatment after Laser Resurfacing? Having undergone ablative/non-ablative fractional laser resurfacing four weeks ago I'm wondering when is the best time decide whether I should undergo further treatments to further improve my acne scars? Is it best to wait 6 months? or is there an advantage to having some type of treatment before then?

Wait six months after ablative fractional laser before more treatment

There is continued improvement for six months in collagen build-up after fractional ablative laser resurfacing so you should give your skin a chance to benefit from the procedure before having more done.
