Can co2 laser be used under the eyes

Yes, co2 laser can be used under the eyes. However, be very careful to choose a cosmetic physician who has great experience in this specific procedure.  There is the traditional ablative co2 laser which although effective, does carry a fairly significant side effect profile such as scarring and delayed hypopigmentation Fractional co2 laser can be used with much less risk. CO2 laser for undereye wrinkes.

Fractional CO2 resurfacing for undereye wrinkles works quite well. A few words of caution, the energy settings should be low since the skin is so thin in this area, and the physician should place metal contact lens in the eyes prior to the procedure to protect the eyes.  Healing usually takes 4-6 days.
