I had CO2 laser upper, lower bleph and cheek lift 8 weeks ago. How much longer will complications listed below last? (photo)

My eyes are red, very irritated and glassy looking. It feels like I have a hair inside my eye lids at all times. One eye droops due to scar tissue. I'm also dealing with chemosis. I'm using eye drops, ointment at night. I was using steroid drops for 3 weeks. I'm most concerned with the droop and irritation. I had steroid injections to soften scar tissue. I'm using warm compresses and massage as well. My Oculofacial Surgeon said this will all resolve in time. I'm extremely stressed! Thank you!

Judging from your pictures you are having some lid closure issues and also some mild rounding or scleral show. You may also have some chemosis. Sometimes upward massage and warm compresses can help to accelerate the healing process but I would discuss that first with your treating surgeon. Most of your issues should resolve in time as a general rule but again I would discuss those matters with your surgeon.

Sorry for all your issues. I guess your surgeon was NOT a PS.. Best to seek second opinions and different treatment for your cicatricial ectropion, chemosis, and exposure of the globe..
