Back and Shoulder Laser Acne Scar Treatment?

I am considering Co2 laser resurfacing. The laser that I'm considering is called Sharplan Silktouch or Feathertouch. I have done a test spot with considerable results. However, its been 4 to 5 months since then and the test spot is still red but for the most part, it's smooth. Is this normal and should I consider a different co2 laser or treatment for back and shoulder acne scars?
