how bad is recovery? Does it mean I cannot leave my house at all? Also, would like recmmendation for really excellent Dr in fort lauderdale area? how much should it cost for entire face?
What type of recovery should you expect after CO2 laser resurfacing?
A wide variety of CO2 laser devices exist ranging from fractionated to unfractionated deviecs. The downtime depends on the amount of energy used to resurface your facial skin. Most patients are healed, regardless of energy level, within a week. However, redness will remain for several weeks to several months depending upon how aggressive the treatment level. Your surgeon should be able to give you a better idea of how aggressive the treatment will need to be and your downtime. With regard to cost, a reasonable range for full-face resurfacing is $2500-5000 depending upon region and practice. I hope this information is helpful.
