How Do I Clean the Inside of my Nose After Rhinoplasty?

I'm almost 2 weeks post-op. I have been gently cleaning inside my nostrils with q-tips wet with water and hydrogen peroxide. But the blood has dried up and recently I came across a round piece of dried up "flesh" that stills seems to be attached to inside my nose and it's just hanging. I have no idea if that is suppose to fall of or if it's even suppose to be there. I'm scared of picking at it because it looks like it will hurt if I push it out with q-tips. Same problem in both nostrils.

Cleaning Nose 2 Weeks after Rhinoplasty

Placing ointment in the nose to soften crusts at incision sites may be helpful after a rhinoplasty. Do not try to remove any material you see or feel. Consult with your surgeon and follow his/her instructions.

Cleaning the nose after rhinoplasty

Before tugging or picking at anything inside your nose, you must be evaluated by your plastic surgeon. There may be incisions in the nose, or sutures that should not be disrupted. Vaseline may be helpful to help soften dry blood clots, but your other concerns must be addressed in person.
