Does the Clarisonic give you results?

I used it for about 6 weeks and was not impressed.

Clarisonic brushes, I heard, can carry lots of bacteria that you really don't want to rub into your face. This means, unless you have a way to sterilize, you have to change expensive heads alot. Anyone know more about this? Also, I noticed dove advertising a brush similar to the clarisonic and it was much much less expensive!

I love my Clarisonic! I now keep it in the shower with me and use it down my neck and chest area. It feels like a mini facial and it's the one thing that's made a really big difference with the blackheads on my nose. It's not like I've had a terrible problem with them but I noticed them and it bugged me that I couldn't get rid of them. I remove my makeup first with either a makeup remover sheet or by washing my face with cleanser. Then, I follow up with my Clarisonic. It just helps to keep the brush cleaner. Look at it this way, unless you use a clean washcloth every time you wash your face, it's not completely clean either. I also use alcohol on the brush head every few days. If you purchase it from a store like Sephora, you'll also get regular emails every few months when it's time to change the brush heads which are about $25. They may be less on ebay. I'm just really happy with the results and each time I use mine, my skin feels like I've had a mini facial. I haven't used any exfoliating creams since I've started with the Clarisonic. My Mom has always said, "you get what you pay for" and, in my experience, I agree with her. I'm not saying that the most expensive item is always the best. Since I'm so happy with the results I've had, I see no reason to change. I also follow and write reviews on another message board for a major t.v. shopping channel (hint, hint ;) and the majority of the people there have been really happy with theirs as well. :)

I have a Clarisonic and I think it is a wonder. After one week, the lumps under my skin disappeared. I didn't 'break out', they just disappered! Although I have combination skin, my breakouts are infrequent, but too many blackheads. Clarisonic really cleans out the pores, so no more blackheads. It has a timer just like the Sonicare toothbrush, so you aren't tempted to over-scrub. I have sensitive skin and this tool doesn't seem to bother me. The 'dermabrasion' machine I bought from TV [famous soap star promoting] worked OK, but the Clarisonic is 100 Xs better. I'm now trying it [with a different brush] on my elbows and knees. I highly recommend it.

The Clarisonic has really improved my skin! My pores are noticeably smaller as a result of using it for the past 6 months. I agree with Nancy50 that you do get what you pay for in this product. Also, I was worried about spreading around bacteria, so I wash the brush every night after use with anti-bacterial soap. I haven't had any problems as a result.

I purchased the Clarisonic Brush over a year ago. I like the brush and believe it has improved my skin. I like this brush over the battery operated sponge exfoliaters I have used in the past. Maybe I got a bad brush, but my battery stopped recharging completely after about 5 months. Sometimes I barely get to use it before it quits. The battery not taking a full charge is my big complaint. I paid almost $200 for it and I'm very disappointed. I have the Sonic toothbrush and have had no problems with the charge of the toothbrush.

I bought one from a client in Boca (plastic surgeon and medical aesthetic center) and accidentally threw out the "free brush head" offer. I called them and they immediately replaced it for me, free. Not because they know me, because they don't. GREAT customer service! Call them about your non-working Clarisonic, i am sure they will help you.

We absolutely LOVE Clarisonic MD at our office!!! It has improved all of our skin care regimens!! Our entire office staff is hooked! You will make an investment in the beginning for the brush but it compliments any skin care line you currently use. I highly recommend this product to all of our patients.
