Chin Surgery: Q&A

Ask a Question

My Chin Sticks Down when I Smile from the Side. What Procedure Would Be Best to Fix This?

I prefer to do a non-surgical procedure so would a non-surgical chin implant help? I also plan on having the non-surgical jaw shaving done as well to have a slimmer face, would that help as well?

What to do if your chin sticks down when you smile

The best nonsurgical way to address this is to use botox or dysport, relaxing the muscle that causes the pulldown effect. You can also use botox or dysport on the masseter muscles to make the jawline slimmer. Ramtin Kassir, MD
