I have been badly scarred by Deep FX treatment. There are lots of scarring, red marks, depressions, and texture/pigmentation problems that are still in the process of healing after 5 weeks. There is also an unhealed scar that will need surgical excision. I need to find a Doctor who has the experience and expertise to deal with this difficult situation; One who knows lasers, scar tissue, recovery from botched laser procedures, and anything else that can help. I haven’t found one yet, and most doctors I’ve talked to are reluctant to consult with me for fear of getting caught in the middle of a botched procedure.

Hi deepfx injury, I hope you are doing alright. So sorry to hear about your awful experience. Would you write a review so that others considering Deep FX can learn from your experience? Thank you! April from RealSelf

You poor thing! My husband and his family are from Hinsdale, so I have it on good authority that Dr. Few is one of the best in the city. Even if he can't help you, he can probably recommend someone nearby who can. I would consult with him if I was in your shoes. Best of luck:)

Thank you for your concern and recommendations! Through the recommendation of a concerned Dr,. I had a consult yesterday with Dr. Jerome Garden, who has presented at conferences dealing with botched laser procedures, so I think I am in good hands. He was a little shocked at the laser treatment I received. He mapped out a treatment plan for me. At least 1 surgical scar revision with eye scar revision in a year, possibly 2 other minor, small surgical revisions. Low power laser treatment of the red scars on my jaws and cheeks once a month for 4 to 6 months. Total treatment time anticipated to be 2 to 3 years. I was going to go to California to have this done so I could go to one of the physicians that were involved in the testing and development of the Deepfx, to get the most experience. I ended up getting it done locally to save time and money (and it seemed like my Chicago doc know what he as doing... at least he was supremely self confident as he lasered away :( Needless to say, I would love to reverse that decision now that I know better. Food for thought, imho.
