Superficial peels really don't improve acne scarring

Light or superficial peels can improve the appearance of the skin. Superficial peels if repeated can improve some mild pigment problems and the overall appearance of the skin. Acne scarring probably won't be improved with superficial peels, the typical acne scars are at a much deeper level in the skin. Occasionally deeper peels, laser resurfacing or Dermabrasion may improve acne scarring.

Scarring takes heavier peels to improve

Hello, Light or superficial peels do little except decrease oil and improve acne-prone skin mildly. They can be repeated to offer a bit more improvement. The stronger peels have more potential to improve deeper set scarring.
