Ammonia Burns From 12 Years Ago, But Still Hands and Face Flare Up and Burn?

I have sever chemical burns help.... 12 years ago at school ROTC boot camp I was asked to clean with amonia based and bleach based cleaners my hands and face were burned. I went to the medic and was told this had to have been sun burn and they placed ointment on the burns. I went home that night and spent the next 7 days with my hands in ice water. Still to this day it will flare up and it feels like a knife is cutting me it burns and turns red.... I can't take this much longer what do I do
