The teen singer on Glee, Charice Pempengco, did a 30-minute Thermage skin-tightening procedure and Botox to make her "naturally round face" more narrow. Could this work?

Botulinum Toxin (Dysport and Botox) to "thin" the face or make a round face appear longer

Thermage may help to diminish subcutaneous fat and "tighten" skin but it also has been reported to be not effective for some or to cause firm nodules beneath the surface. Off-label use of Botulinum Toxin (Dysport and Botox) for masseter reduction is also a relatively common procedure. While I perform the latter, I am not a strong advocate of the former at this point in time.

Thermage is basically a radio frequency treatment that tightens the skin

Thermage is basically a radio frequency treatment that tightens the skin. If you have a rounder face because of looser skin, then Thermage might be used to lift and tighten. BOTOX can also be used to lift the eyebrows and tighten the neckline to make the face appear longer and narrower.

Botox can be used for a more narrow face

Non-approved uses of Botox include decreasing the bulk of the masseter muscle in those whose cheeks are wide and not narrow.  It also can be used to help people with TMJ problems of their jaw as these muscles may not be balanced well and it can cause pain which may be relieved by the Botox. Thermage may tighten skin that is loose but may not change youthful skin.
