Ok I know smoking is bad for your health but I can't quit, so in terms of that if I start smoking again 4 weeks post rhinoplasty is it likely to have a noticable effect on my nose. Or is it safer now because i've waited a month. Notice I said safer and not safe. And what are the possible complications that can occur.

Smoking 4 Weeks after Rhinoplasty

I will never condone smoking cigarettes. This will probably not effect the final result, but will delay healing.

Smoking most likely OK 1 month after rhinoplasty

I would first check with your surgeon to see if there are any extenuating circumstances that might require longer smoking cessation. In the absence of that, I generally allow my rhinoplasty patients to begin smoking 2 weeks after surgery. If you've made it 4 weeks, this is the perfect time to quit altogether!
