How Does Liposuction and Smart Lipo Affect Cellulite?

I read somewhere that regular liposuction may increase the appearance of cellulite if you have it. But Laser Lipo (Smart Lipo) can reduce cellulite because it tightens the skin while removing fat. Is this true? Please explain. Thank you.

Both may improve cellulite a little

Traditional liposuction usually made cellutite worse but the new tumescent technique liposculpting with micro canulas is not traditional liposuction and is so much better . These small canulas can actually get close to the underside of the skin near the reticular dermis and rough it up and break the fibrous attactments which are pulling in on the skin dimpling it and therefore then stimulates contracture of the skin to tighten it alittle. Cellulite and liposuction

Cellulite is something that may get better or worse after liposuction. There is no great technology out there that improves cellulite.

Liposuction with subdermal tunneling can tighten skin

Superficial tumescent liposuction (Gasparoti technique) with tunneling right under the skin can actually tighten the skin and help with cellulite.  Definitely not make it worse.  Smart Lipo has no benefits, and I would avoid it.

No proof that laser lipolysis treats cellulite via skin tightening

Smart lipo uses a very small tip to deliver the laser energy. Sometimes that can be advantageous in a small area while other times it can be quite tedious. Imagine painting a room with an artist's fine paintbrush versus using a roller brush. You might get alot of detail but it would take forever, right? Will the result be that much better?
