Yes, it was just approved by the FDA this week (1/30/12). It is a laser treatment that divides the fiber that cause the puckering of the skin, it also stimulates collagen production to increase the thickness of the skin, and it destroys protruding fat cells in the thinned skin of cellulite depressions.

Has Celulaze been approved by the FDA? Help!

Celulaze was very recently approved by the FDA in November of 2011. It appears to be a long-standing single treatment for cellulite that can be performed under local anesthesia or in combination with liposuction. Cellulaze is FDA Approved and We Will Offer It in March 2012

As Dr. Mendoza said, yes, it was FDA Approved on 1/30/2012 and has been approved for use in Europe since Septemeber of 2011. Before that it has been tested on people for 4 years and has proven to be very effective against cellulite.
