about 30 years ago I had 3 cavities filled with amalgam, my dentist recommends that I should have the amalgam removed and the cavities filled with resin. Do you suggest that I should have this treatment done ? I have no symtoms at all. Thank You.

My advice would be to do nothing for now. Your child's teeth look pretty normal for a child his age and you can expect his teeth to look a lot more uniform in the next 3 to 4 years. I know it's hard, but just be patient and you may see that his teeth turn out fine. Good luck...
