So just about a year or so ago I went rock climbing with my friends and the harness I wore created un nessisarry gross veins on my butt which sucks. I noticed they are spreading & its really bothering me:( advice? Affordable options? At home remidies? Any advice would help!
Answer: Removing broken blood vessels on the buttocks Thank you ffaaitthh for your question. I am sorry that you are having this problem. This is a difficult question to answer without having a physical examination or photos. Since you did not include photos, I am guessing that these veins would respond to laser treatment. This may require 1-2 treatments. Typically this can be done in the doctor’s office. If the laser does not work, you may also require sclerosis vein injection. If you have any questions feel free to contact my office. Good luck. Sincerely, J. Timothy Katzen, M.D.

Answer: Vein Treatments on Buttock Veins are typically treated with either injections of a sclerosant (sclerotherapy) or with lasers. I suggest a formal in person consultation to see what you are a candidate for. These should be relatively easy to treat. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Buttock veins can be treated with sclerotherapy - Buffalo Niagara, NY The veins in the gluteal folds, between the thigh and buttocks can be successfully mapped with VeinLite examination or AccuVein mapping. Once they are mapped, they can be injected with a sclerotsant solution and 1 treatment may be enough in most cases.
