Can Velashape cause permanent damage?

I had two treatments and cancelled further ones. The pain was unbearable and the bruising significant. Question: can this cause unreparable damage? In specific, for my inner thigh on left, which was very smooth already, the bruising was huge and is still lightly visible after 3 weeks. The smooth area now actually has a couple bumps protruding. So I went from smooth (pretreatment) to bumpy (after two treatments). Should I see an MD to confirm no permanent damage has been done?

Same thing happened to me. The back of my right thigh looks deformed after my second treatment. She had to use a smaller head on the second one because I had so much pain and bruising after my first. My let looks deformed and I don't know what to do now. I don't even want to put a bathing suit on.
