The ideal breast lift (mastopexy) candidate is a patient who is happy with her amount of breast tissue when wearing a bra, but unhappy with the amount of sagging that occurs when her bra is taken off.

Breast lifts are often perfromed without implants.  I recommend this procedure often if a patient has enough natural breast tissue to achieve the results desired.  The technique performed will affect the shape of the breasts, however, so be sure and ask to see your surgeons previous work.
