C-section Stitches. When Can I Expect The Stitches to Dissolve?
just wondering how long until my dissolving stitches dissolve w a c-section? i had staples n they were removed, but its been 4 weeks n they should be done right?

When do dissolving stitch dissolve?
The short answer is it depends on the suture material. Some dissolve in days and others take weeks or even months. And in my patients sometimes the same suture takes longer to dissolve in one patient than another. So ask your surgeon what suture was used and about how long it usually takes to dissolve.
