Do the Burn Marks from IPL Ever Fade Away Completely?

hi i have had 2 session of ipl treatments. i am skin type 4 with my forehead sightly more tanned that the rest of the face. first time i did the treatment on intensity 4.1, and everything was fine, the next time i did the treatment on intensity 7.1 and it left me with some double lined marks on my forehead. the area which was burnt was very paniful for about an hour or so and then ater couple of days, it formed a black scab which fell off, however the marks were very white which turned darker
