Brown age spots turn reddish after Photofacial
Is it normal for brown-colored age spots to turn reddish after a Photofacial (IPL treatment)? It has been my 1st IPL treatment about 3 and 1/2 weeks ago and while most of my freckles turned very dark, surfaced, and sloughed away, I have a larger age spot that I swear is more reddish and less brownish than it was before the treatment. It also seems to appear to be closer to the surface now. Am I seeing things? Is this normal? Today is Friday and I'll go back on Tuesday for my second treatment, and of course I'll be asking these same questions. However, I'd like to hear other answers, opinions, etc. Thanks!
