Generally the size of the equipment needed to perform the respingl would have been nearly impossible to place through the nose.

Brow bone shaving
Brow bone shaving can not be done through the nose unless it is just the radix area. For the supraorbital rim it would have to be done eight endoscopic or through an open coroanl incision.

The Brow Bones (Supraorbital Ridge) CANNOT be shaved through the Nose
A nose incision can allow a powered burr to mildly shave the high bridge of the nose, correcting a Grecian nasal deformity and the lower glabella but it cannot be used to symmetrically and safely smooth prominent Brow Bones (Supraorbital Ridges). To do so once must have access from above (hairline or higher).
